About Us

After working in the Health Insurance industry for 45 years including at 4 major Health Insurance carriers as an Executive and Sales Representative, and inclusive in that time at no less than 5 Independent Third Party Administrator firms, all involved in the Self-Funding segment of the industry; I felt as if I was living in the Land of Oz.  In that, I had experienced more than just a peek under the curtain of the Great Wizard – Our US Healthcare economy, but I had lived it over-and-over from every conceivable perspective.

What I discovered was that the US Healthcare system was NOT Broken, but rather Designed and Controlled by a cartel-like Healthcare Industrial Complex, where those on the “inside” only got richer; and at the same time keeping a locked door to that system for those of us that the system had supposedly been developed to help; but left out in the cold, and sometimes even to bankruptcy, locked from the secrets locked inside.

Truth is, there is no Wizard, to help you make your way back to Kansas.  You must escape OZ altogether to accomplish your goals; i.e. achieve affordable, sustainable, effective healthcare outcomes

Charles W. Gragg CEBS, REBC, RHU

Author – Get Off the Hamster-Wheel

Charles is a results-focused senior executive whose background includes leadership roles in group insurance and financial services, as well as third-party administration. His strengths are his extensive knowledge of how to capture business opportunities, optimize market awareness, and build a competitive position which significantly improves sustainable financial performance. He was the founder and chief operating officer of Commercial Risk Medical Plans (TPA), and his consulting services focus on the design and implementation of unique healthcare plans that involve self-funding, captive risk development, and creative, cost-containment solutions.

 

He received a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee in commercial and financial management and carries three extended insurance designations, including a CEBS-(Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant) and RHU (Registered Health Underwriter) certifications from The American College, Byrn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
